and a dry mouth.
Sitting here waiting...
for the first day of school to begin.
I'm a nervous wreck.
Even when you teach your own children. Even when they are eager to start learning. Even when you have been doing it for years.
They look so eager and innocent, don't they? Give me about two weeks.

I hope it's an amazing year for you guys! We did a month over the summer, then took two weeks off and now we're back this week. It's going really well, but I was pretty nervous about six weeks ago when we were diving in...and then over the weekend before were set to restart. Then I remember we just have to follow the schedule, have fun, and be kind to one another and then it's all good. (I'm on the computer now because Kevin is home and leading the troops while I do laundry and read blogs...loving his "weird" schedule this semester.) Anyway, have a great one! Your kids are a beautiful bunch!
